We call all cleantech startups to pitch at Ecosummit Düsseldorf 2012 on 14-15 November at the Langen Foundation, Germany’s most beautiful private museum designed by Japanese architect Tadao Ando. ECO12 Düsseldorf is our 4th international conference and brings together startups, VCs, corporates and utilities to accelerate smart green innovation. So far we confirmed 15 sponsors and 43 speakers including 26 startups. Startups can win a free 8-minute pitch and get in front of Europe’s leading cleantech VCs and Corporate VCs. All smart green startups that have reached the first milestones and look for funding and publicity are invited to apply for a free 8-minute investor pitch. Each selected startup gets one free speaker ticket for ECO12 Düsseldorf. Startups with less than €1M revenues in 2012 can buy further tickets for ECO12 Düsseldorf at 50% discount.

Investor Pitch Application Guideline

To make our selection process easier, we kindly ask you to send us a 10-slide investor presentation that we keep confidential. Please email your investor presentation to pitch@ecosummit.net.

Your ECO12 investor pitch presentation should have the following structure:

1. Company (location, employees, funding, revenues, investors, partners, customers)
2. Market (market description, market size)
3. Product (problem, solution, value proposition, USP)
4. Technology (overview, patent situation)
5. Competition (main direct competitors)
6. Team (founders, management team, track record)
7. Business Case (5-year summary)
8. New Funding (capital to be raised, use of funds)

If you are selected, it is highly recommended that you practice your pitch and timing as much as possible. We will also provide you with a speaker manual with useful tips, e.g. using the speaker display and speaker clock in front of you and looking at the audience and Ecosummit TV cameras at all times. Please note that all investor pitches will be published on Ecosummit TV which has received over 39K Videoviews so far. Therefore, only public information should be included during the live presentation.
