EIGHT GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 2011 by Thomas Prinzing, CEO of machine construction company Kurt Prinzing GmbH & Co. KG, and Christoph B. Roessner, a marketing expert and emobility enthusiast. Both share the vision to wow people all over the world for emobility by creating fully sustainable solar charging stations that summarize all positive features of emobility and help electric vehicles to become an element of urban lifestyle. Therefore, the founders decided to join forces by creating a new brand and an intelligent platform which elaborates individually designed products due to its digital workflow chain and its cutting-edge production method. To ensure the products will meet all needs, EIGHT benefits of Kurt Prinzing’s manufacturing experience and the skills of two more experts: The internationally recognised architecture and design studio LAVA and the consultants for the digital production of complex designs from designtoproduction. The sustainable solar charging stations target businesses and public organisations that want to make their passion for sustainable emobility visible. Currently, EIGHT approaches the European and US-American market but will be available in more countries soon.

In its current design POINT.ONE delivers clean electricity for 40.000 km per year. Its technology gets presented with a contemporary design which allows organizations to show their commitment to a sustainable future. The unique production process keeps materials and energy consumption to a minimum and facilitates individual solutions that correspond with the corporate design and brand language of any customer and the layout of any environment.
