For four years, he has helped to finance and build large solar projects on commercial roofs and fields throughout Europe. In 2011, he met Pierre Vermeulen, the founder of Solease, who had just started with its solar lease concept. Solease leases solar panels to private homeowners through a full-service concept. The Solease model works with a fixed monthly fee which includes the purchase and installation of the solar system as well as the cost of financing, insurance and repair.
