Ecosummit 2012 becoming Europe’s leading Smart Green Innovation Forum
The ECO12 Agenda is online. 30 smart green startups are nominated for the ECO12 Award.
Press Release – Berlin, 13 February 2012: Ecosummit 2012 (ECO12) takes place on 22-23 March in the Radialsystem in Berlin. The 3rd edition of the international smart green business conference gathers around 400 executives of startups, investors, corporates and utilities. ECO12 focuses on cleantech, renewable energy, electric mobility, smart green city and venture capital. Already 30 smart green startups are nominated for the ECO12 Award.
Smart Green Innovation – the motto of Ecosummit 2012 underlines the role of successful innovations for the fast transformation to the Smart Green Economy. Smart stands for ubiquitous information and communication technology. Green means bringing cleantech to the mass market and making sustainability the default strategy of every company. Being smart and green enables the automation and optimisation of ecofriendly products and services.
30 startups from 6 countries are nominated for the Ecosummit Award 2012. Applications and Facebook voting are possible until 1 March 2012. Afterwards, the expert jury selects its winners. The best 3 startups of the jury voting share €15K prize money, the best 3 startups of the Facebook voting get a total of 6 ECO12 tickets.
Numerous promising startups present at ECO12: Heliatek, SolarFuel, Agnion, EnOcean, McPhy Energy, Smart Hydro Power, Onyx Solar, Flinc, Entelios, WeSustain, Ubitricity, Greenpocket, Advanced Plasma Power, Watson Brown, Rockethome, Airbase, Get Neutral and Sunfire.
