Today Mindconnect’s competence in location intelligence, big data and spatial analytics enables transport and mobility service providers to operate more efficiently in urban traffic, thereby reducing the negative impact of transport in cities. Moreover, their innovative service Eventico allows event organisers and cities to manage large events (e.g. marathons, cultural events) and efficiently reach out with traffic information within the smart city context. Ulrika is driving Mindconnect’s geographical expansion. Before starting her own venture, Ulrika worked for Schneider Electric in France and Business Sweden in South Africa and India. • Matthew Lumsden is CEO of Connected Energy and his primary focus is on establishing key partnerships that can underpin step changes in the growth of this 2nd life EV battery based energy storage business. Prior to founding Connected Energy, Matthew led the growth of UK based energy consultancy TNEI for 10 years before exiting in 2010. At that point Matthew founded Future Transport Systems to undertake consultancy and R&D focussing on the interface between EVs and the grid. Following several years of R&D testing V2G systems and 2nd life battery based storage systems, Matthew set up Connected Energy to completely focus on commercialising the E-STOR 2nd life battery based technology. Connected Energy has been ramping up sales over the last 12 months.
